Santa Rosa Road Parallel Bores

Lompoc, California

To support new construction for a winery production facility, ABD successfully installed two 8″ HDPE sleeves using directional drilling to underground six utilities including electrical, telecommunication, water reclamation and sanitary sewer. Using two 40,000-pound directional rigs, the parallel bores crossed below Salsipuedes Creek, reaching depths of 90 feet. Crews worked in tandem to complete the job 10 days early to meet time sensitive requirements. ABD procured supplies and equipment, and assisted with planning and permitting, including preparation of the topographic survey and design bore profile.
