South Bay Mobile Home Park
San Jose, California
South Bay is a 216-space mobile home park, which was converted from privately-owned to utility-direct service under the California Mobilehome Park Utility Upgrade Pilot Program. While the project was underway, storm runoff from San Jose’s Anderson Reservoir overflowed into the bordering Coyote Creek, flooding the entire park. VPC crews acted quickly to protect and maintain excavated areas. Following the storm, the new gas pipeline was thoroughly cleaned and a video inspection performed to ensure it was was safe and ready for service.
