Copper Service Replacement Program
Multiple locations throughout California
The Copper Service Replacement Program focused on removing all known underground copper services installed between the 1930s and 1970s, replacing with new gas line services. In the second year of the program, VPC was awarded a design contract for a portion of services in addition to the construction contract, and continued as the prime contractor in support of this program. While logistics provide challenging, VPC successfully coordinated with residents, city inspectors, permitting, camera inspections and much more, and closed out the program in March 2021.
