The Bid Administrator receives daily leadership support from the Estimating Manager and is responsible for a variety of estimating tasks. Will work closely with the Estimating Team to ensure success within the department. This person will assist the Estimating team in managing estimate scheduling and obtaining the necessary information to generate and send estimates in a timely fashion.

Job Description

  • Manage estimate intake
  • Develop and manage estimating schedules.
  • Provide bid packages to estimators working on projects and monitor website for addendums.
  • Assist with quotes, phone calls and miscellaneous duties for estimators.
  • Send out bid results company-wide and update all logs regarding bid.
  • Provide agencies with supplier list of subs/suppliers.
  • Maintain folder for successful/unsuccessful bids with all pertinent information.
  • Seek new bid opportunities through online portals.
  • Assist with production of final bid documents and arrangements to supply these documents to the customer within defined tender deadlines.
  • Ensure bid and proposal WORD documentation is formatted, collated and presented in a professional manner.

Skills and Qualifications

  • HCSS products experience preferred
  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of MS software particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, and SharePoint
  • Attention to detail


  • Self-motivated
  • Good organization skills
