Reports to the Procurement department supervisor

 Responsibilities:

Procurement Administrator is responsible for supporting procurement department with general administrative duties and to ensure all requirements specified in the purchase order are accomplished including document delivery, efficient coordination, inspections and on time delivery.  Main role is to track orders, handle delivery delays, and coordinate with the warehouse manager/requestor for delivery.

  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Dispatch orders to the correct locations
  • Check deliveries to ensure there are no discrepancies
  • Resolve purchase order problems and knows when to escalate up
  • Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
  • Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts, etc.)
  • Support procurement team with follow up and tracking of POs, RFQs, etc.
  • Support in conducting market research to identify pricing trends
  • Research potential suppliers
  • Support in calling off rental equipment as needed
  • Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls when requested
  • Support in resolving invoice queries and rejections

  • All business communications, whether verbal, visual, or written, whether for internal or external use, will be professional in tone and content and in accordance with applicable and existing company policies and standards.
  • Employees will respect each other’s time, space and need for concentration. Socializing and interruptions must not impede workflow
  • Employees will have, at a minimum, biweekly, regularly-scheduled meetings with their manager.
