ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Minimize resident disruption by working with Beyond-The-Meter pros.As the leading provider of To-the-Meter (TtM) and Beyond-the-Meter (BtM) services under the Mobilehome Park (MHP) Utility Upgrade program in California, VPC is proud to play a role in the effort to replace aging, unreliable systems and give park owners and residents greater control of their energy usage. Through this CPUC program, MHPs throughout California are getting a major upgrade to their gas and electric infrastructure by converting to direct utility services. While the TtM costs are covered by the program, park owners are responsible for hiring a contractor to perform the BtM portion of the upgrade work. Generally, BtM costs are reimbursed by the utility provider and VPC can help park owners and managers navigate the entire process from beginning to end.
MORE THAN 80 PARKS COMPLETED
With more than 7,000 mobile home spaces already converted, VPC has mastered the balance between complex gas and electric installations and helping park owners and managers throughout the life of the project.
5 STEP EASY PROCESS FOR PARK OWNERS
VPC provides support and guidance with the Mobile Home Park Agreement, pricing reviews and customer outreach, as well as actively supports all interactions with utility owners and TtM contractors in all execution phases.
PRESENTATIONS & SUPPORT FOR RESIDENTS
Our crews go the extra mile to prepare park residents for the construction ahead. They quickly adapt to fast changing environments, and follow strict safety protocols to ensure the safety of the entire MHP community.
VALUE ENGINEERED PRICING
Our model for MHP conversions has been finely honed over time to become a complete solution providing the highest economical value. Project managers work between the park owner and utility to draft an agreement that benefits all parties.
